A Story on Faith
Hanuman is the Monkey God who is son of Vayu, the God of the Wind, and the most devoted of all of Ram's devotees. In the Indian epic story of the Ramayana, Hanuman journeys to Sri Lanka to to rescue Ram's wife Sita who has been captured by the demon king Ravana. Upon Hanuman's arrival, Ravana had his son Indrajit capture Hanuman with a mystical invincible weapon called the Brahmastra. Hanuman became confined under the spell of the Brahmastra: contained without any visible binding shakles. The guards in Sri Lanka did not believe Hanuman to be captured without visible bindings. So they used rope to contain him. This disregarded the power of the Brahmastra, Hanuman set himself free, caused a bit of trouble in Sri Lanka, and then headed back to Ram who eventually rescued his beloved Sita. Had the guards had faith in the Brahmastra, Hanuman would have stayed captured.

Do you have to see it to believe it? It is easy to see things as you would like them to be, to create a story in your mind. Faith is not a bout making up a story, it is about knowing how you want your story to unfold and trusting in the universe to hear your heart's true desire and allowing love to be your driving force.
